HAPPY THOUGHT #1: Safe baby handling tips

Dealing with grief can get heavy at times.  I have found that in life there is good and bad in everything.  What makes me resilient depends on which I choose to focus on.  For that reason, I am adding daily Happy Thoughts to my Good Grief Guru blog.

Follow along to see what makes me happy.  Maybe it will make you happy too.  Let’s try it out.

Happy thought #1.  I stumbled upon the book “Safe Baby Handling Tips” by David and Kelly Sopp.  One doesn’t need look further than the cover for a good laugh, but to multiply that response, look inside.  The cover comes with a spin wheel of responsibility, so if there’s ever a disagreement as to who does what, spin the wheel!  As the tag line says, “keeps parents fair, honest, and un-divorced.”

Next are two examples of the “Safe Baby Handling Tips.”

Tip #1 – Wake baby by kissing baby on head.  YES.  Wake baby by blowing air horn.  Not recommended.

Tip #2 – Peek-a-boo is a fun game for babies.  Chess?  Not so much.

This book has my happy thoughts off to a good start.
