Dr. Jen's Omnama Sacred Chant
A huge part of my work involves the voice, because I believe it is our fulcrum to creating deep inner change. I am so thrilled to be in the process of completing my newest CD, The Ecstatic Voice, which will include sacred chants from many different spiritual traditions. The following chant, Omnama, is based on a Hindu chant, 'om nama shivara', which means simply, 'I bow to the Divine Source.' Whether you have been chanting sacred phrases for years or have never considered doing so, I invite you to experience the transcendence of letting go and allowing your inner ear to listen deeply to the opening beyond the farthest sound.
